When you buy a rail ticket in 2020, it's confirmed

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has a realistic 2020 plan. There won't be any railway waiting list from 2020. In an interview to Eeenadu, Suresh Prabhu said in Delhi on Friday that rail travel would be like bus travel from 2020. When you travel in a bus, you do not have to have prior reservation. You go and board the bus. Similarly, rail travel would also be made so simple. By 2020, the rail tickets being sold and the available seats/berths available would be the same. So when you buy the ticket, it is confirmed. There is no question of cancellations and waiting for the waiting list for confirmation. The Minister said the railway efforts to provide facilities to travelers were slowly bearing fruit. He reiterated that there won't be a railway waiting list from 2020.
