Narayana dismisses Jagan demands of CBI probe into Tuni violence

The demand for a CBI inquiry into the Tuni violence by YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy was resented by Minister Narayana on Friday. Talking to the media in Viayawada, the Minister charged that by demanding a CBI inquiry into the Tuni incidents, Jagan was taking the whole thing lightly. Jagan was already experienced with CBI inquiry, having faced it. In that context, he dismissed Jagan demand as motivated. As for Jagan charge how could a satyagraha at home be regarded as a law and order problem, the Minister said that Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham was not doing fasting for the family. Moreover, he was armed with an insecticide bottle, threatening suicide. In such a case, is not taking one's own life a law and order problem, he asked. What should the government do in the circumstances? he queried. It was a law and order issue, he added.
