Andhras who return by June 2, 2017, are domiciles

The Andhras living or working in Hyderabad and elsewhere can now go back to their home State and obtain their identity. The President, Pranab Mukherjee, has signed the file relating to Andhras' identity. The Gazette notification under Article 371D states that in the case of education and emplyment opportunities, the domiciliary nature would not be an impediment. The Andhras, who would return to their home State by June 2, 2017, would be recognized as domiciles. With this, the Andhra Pradesh staff in Hyderabad could safely return to their capital of Amaravati and enjoy the regional benefits. The government staff have been reluctant to move on the ground that infrastructure facilities were not proper at Amaravati.
