How is YSR god & I a criminal for Kapus, Chandrababu wonders

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday lashed out at Kapu Unity Platform leader Mudragada Padmanabham, saying he described the late YSR, former Chief Minister, as god, while he was doing everything for the Kapus but was being dubbed a criminal. He called a media meet in Cuddapah in connection with the Reconstruction Week to specially flay Mudragada for his actions. Chandrababu said his government was already engaged in fulfilling the promises it had made for different sections of society. As part of it, the Manjunatha Commission was instituted to go into the question of reservations for the Kapus among the Backward Classes. On the contrary, Mudragada and his followers were eulogising YSR as god and deemed him a criminal for doing everything for the Kapus. If you revolted against the police, who would be responsible for the property of the people, he wondered, hinting at Tuni violence wherein police stations were attacked and burnt down as also the Ratnachal Express passing by besides beating up the policemen. The Manjunatha Commission was examining the Kapu reservation issue. For the welfare of the Kapus, a corporation was set up. Funds have been allocated to it. At this stage, the Chief Minister's aides whispered to him about the seriousness of Kirlampudi incidents involving Mudraguda and Chandrababu went out of the media meeting.
