YCP to fight for Special Category Status: Vijaya Sai

YSR Congress Party leader Vijaya Sai Reddy on Wednesday received the confirmation letter relating to his unanimous election to the Rajya Sabha recently. It may be mentioned that Vijaya Sai Reddy, party general secretary, was nominated to the Rajya Sabha by party supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. Speaking to the media in the Legislative Assembly premises, Vijaya Sai Reddy said he would strive for the development of Andhra Pradesh, adding that his party was fighting for special status for Andhra Pradesh. He criticised the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for its miserable failure in resolving the problems of the people during the past 2 years.
