Not proper to chant only Amaravathi : MLA Roja
Tirupati, June 6: Nagari MLA RK Roja has alleged that it was atrocious on the part of Andhra Pradesh government, which organized ‘Navanirman Deeksha’ on June 2, for failing to invite local MLAs for the same program and said that the program turned as ‘Chandrababu Bhajana’ program. Speaking to the media here on Monday, Roja alleged that she didn’t get invitation though the Navanirmana Deeksha program held in her constituency. She asserted that Chief Minister Chandrababu, who concentrated only on Hyderabad city in the past, was now concentrating only on Amaravathi. It was not proper to chant only Amaravathi, she said and opined that development will take place only when decentralization of power takes place. The TDP government achieved nothing in the last two years, she claimed and asked the government to take all parties into confidence to achieve special status to the State and in solving problems of the people. She participated in “Navanirmana Deeksha” program held at Vijayapuri in Tirupati as an MLA though she was not invited.
