Chandrababu hints at phased shift of Depts. to Amaravati by June 27
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Monday refuted the government staff charge that infrastructure facilities were not available to them in Amaravati.
He inspected the six buildings coming up at Velagapudi this morning. These would comprise the new State Secretariat.
Speaking to newsmen later, Chandrababu said the buildings would be completed in time. All the basic infrastructure facilities had been provided for the staff.
Expressing anger over the staff charge about the infrastructure facilities, the Chief Minister hinted at a phased shift from Hyderabad to the new Amaravati capital. The roadmap for the shift of departments by June 27 would be released shortly. Files, records and data would be provided in time, he added.
