'Evenif I shifted to TDP........'

One vice president of a village, belonging to ruling Telugu Desam Party, resiged from his post and also to the party saying that he could not work for the people even as a leader of the ruling party. David Kumar, a Dalit leader, was elected as a ward member of Chinabogili village of Sitanagaram village from YSR Congress party and later elected as vice president of the village. Later, he shifted to TDP as he was lured by the ruling party leaders. Speaking to reporters on Sunday, he said, "I had to shift to ruling party with an intention of serving the people much better. But, I failed in doing so evenif I was a leader of TDP and so, I am resigning from my post and also from the party." He said that he would continue to work for the people as a worker of MRPS. He submitted his resignation copy to the local MPDO.
