15 to 20 Congress leaders dreaming of CM position in TS, says Venkatreddy

Former Minister Komatireddy Venkatreddy on Saturday revealed that the Congress leaders in Telangana were in a dreamland and that at least 15 to 20 of them were imagining themselves in the Chief Minister's chair in the next poll. The sensational revelation by Venkatreddy when the Congress is comatose is sad commentary for the party. Venkatreddy said unless the Congress was revived, there would be only post-mortem to be done for the party. He said PCC leader Uttamkumar Reddy was worser than Ponnala Lakshmaiah in the position. He should resign forthwith. He should take responsibility for the series of defeats. If he were in that position, Venkatreddy would have already resigned. He said he would be writing a letter to Congress president Sonia Gandhi. He said the party should declare the Chief Ministerial candidate now itself so that there won't be bickerings later on. The party should give preference to those who fought for Telangana in the matter of PCC positions. There were reports recently that Venkatreddy was also going to the ruling TRS party, which he had appreciated for its policies.
