Chandrababu thick-skinned, says Jagan

Continuing his tirade against Chief Minister Chadnrababu Naidu, YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy on Saturday capped his `beat Chadnrababu with chappals' to calling him thick-skinned at Kadiri. The thick-skinned idiom refers to one who is unmoved by woes of others such as farmers in Kadiri. During his Rythu Bharosa Yatra in Anantpur, Jagan said Chadnrababu remained unmoved by the plight of farmers from whom lands had been acquired for the setting up of a solar plant, but had not been given any compensation. Small farmers had dug up borewells and electrified them but no government subsidy was forthcoming. Assigned lands had been seized from small farmers. Therefore, Jagan called Chanrababu thick-skinned, adding fuel to the fire of TDP workers who are already agitated by his earlier remark.
