YCP MLA defectors will lose seats: YV Subba Reddy

Ongole MP YV Subba Reddy told the media on Saturday that the YCP MLAs, who had defected to the ruling TDP, would be losing their seats under the Anti-Defection Law. He pointed to the Uttarakhand episode wherein the MLAs who had defected had to forfeit their voting power. The Congress MLAs in Uttarakhand who had defected to the BJP were not allowed to vote in the trial of strength of Chief Minister Harish Rawat. Likewise Subba Reddy said the YCP MLAs who had defected to the ruling TDP would also be facing problems shortly. He was talking to media in Ongole.
