ACB case against Mathaiah struck down

Jerusalem Mathaiah, accused in the sensational vote-for-note case, on Friday found the Good Samaritan in the Hyderabad High Court which struck down Anti-corruption Buereau case against him. Mathaiah argued that he had nothing to do with the case. It was a political move to involve him in the case. The High Court, which heard both the sides, agreed with counsel for Mathaiah and announced that it was striking down ACB case against him. Soon after the vote-for-note scandal broke out on TV channels, Mathaiah went underground saying his life was in danger. Later he appeared before the High Court seeking bail.
