Anantpur plunged in tension as Chandradandu resents Jagan remark

Anantpur witnessed high tension on Friday following YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy's comment overnight that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu should be beaten with chappals and in reaction the newly formed Chandradandu, supporters of the TDP supremo in the district, trying to confront Jagan touring the disrtrict. Chandradandu was formed in the district by Tadipatri MLA, JC Prabhakar Reddy, whose supporters went in 50 lorryloads to confront Jagan for his remarks at Paeddavadagur in the district. Jagan, who was touring the district, stayed overnight at the residence of a YCP leader at Yadiki. Jagan was just about to resume his tour on Friday when, anticipating unsavoury incidents, YCP followers also gathered there in strength. Aware of Chandradandu move in Anantapur, the police took its followers into custody. Anantpur is now plunged in tension following the incidents.
