Congress to stage dharnas infront of defectors' houses

Hyderabad, May 31: Telangana Congress party has decided to stage dharnas in front of those who will desert the party in future. The party also decided to bring to the notice of Chief Minister, Home Minister and DGP if any ruling party leader blackmails any Congress leader using police. Speaking to the media at Gandhi Bhavan along with party leaders Dr Sravan, Chirumarthi Lingaiah and Bollu Kishan, TPCC vice-president Dr Mallu Ravi said he was the in-charge of the Nalgonda district Congress Party and any ruling party leader threatens Congress leaders using police, we will lodge a complaint with the Chief Minister, Home Minister and the DGP. He said the Congress decided to stage dharnas in front of the residences of the leaders, who won the election on the flank of Congress party symbol, who deserts the party. The party cadre will organize rallies, dharnas and burnt effigies of the leaders, who leave the party, he said adding the party will take up these activities as a movement. Condemning the Union Minister Banadaru Dattatreya’s statement that the Congress party has dead in the state, Ravi said that the Congress party will come to power in 2019 by winning the elections. Finding fault with the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for giving interviews in some section of media saying that the political corruption was 100 percent eradicated, Ravi asked KCR whether giving minister post to TDP MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav was not a political corruption. He also asked the Chief Minister to tell whether giving Rajya Sabha seat to the Congress leader joined TRS party D Srinvias was not a political corruption. He said that the political corruption during TRS two year rule increased to 200 percent. He made it clear that the Congress party will wage war in case the TRS government closes the schools in the name of rationalization. Sravan demanded the Chief Minister to bring the Chief Minister post under the limits of Lokayukta and said that then only one believes that there was no political corruption in the state. He also demanded the KCR to come for debate on the political corruption if the latter was confident on his own statement.
