KCR says farmhouse visits are to remain close to people

Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is often obliquely referred to as having gone to the farm house at Erravelli village in Medak district. In an interview to a daily, KCR explained that he did not go to the farmhouse as popularly understood. He has a house there and also farming. He looks after both during his trips. Also, it was his constituency, where he will be close to the people. There was no question of enjoyment. He looks into public problems from there. There is hardly any time to spend with the family. This had been so for the past three decades. His family had got used to his busy schedule. He asserted no public leader would be able to do justice to his family.
