Mandakrishna held on way to Vijayawada

The Madiga Reservation Porata Samiti leader, Mandakrishna Madiga, is facing tough time these days. The Dalit leader belonging to Khammam district is facing arrest even while going to address a press conference. Mandakrishna went to neighbouring Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh. But he was arrested even before he reached the destination of Vijayawada, where he was to address a press conference. He was accosted at Ibrahimpatnam itself by the police. He argued with the police that he was going to address a press conference in Vijayawada. But the police would not listen. They made him board their vehicle and took him to the police station. Mandakrishna became angry at the police action. But he had to go the police station. The main demand of the Mandakrishna's samiti is categorisation of the Scheduled Castes in the Telugu States.
