Gunfire causes panic in West Godavari district

An incident of gunfire caused panic at a village in West Godavari district on Sunday. However, no one was injured in the firing. The incident took place at Gollala Koderu village in Palakoderu mandal of the district due to some disputes between two groups of people regarding 25 cents of land in the village. One Ramakrishna Raju fired two rounds in the air to threaten the village Sarpanch Suryanarayana. On knowing about the incident, police reached the village and recovered the gun from Ramakrishna Raju and also registered a case against him.
