TRS govt threatening opposition leaders : Mallu Ravi
Hyderabad, May 27: Alleging that the two years TRS party rule did nothing to the people, TPCC vice-president Mallu Ravi has said that dictatorial rule was going on in the state.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, Ravi said that the TRS government troubled media immediately after coming to power and suppressed the voice of the opposition parties in the Legislative Assembly. He alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who said that their agenda was naxals agenda, obstructed the meeting of the Telangana Democratic Front meeting held at Warangal few days ago. The government was installing surveillance cameras in Universities while resorting to fake encounter immediately after coming to power. The TRS government was making the opposition parties MLAs, MLCs and others public representatives to join TRS by threatening them.
Alleging that the TRS government raised curtains to the centralized corruption, Mallu Ravi said that the corruption has become a development marker. The TRS government failed to implement the assurances made by it before the elections, he alleged saying the KCR did not implement his assurance that making of dalit as Chief Minister and failed to implement distribution of three acre land to daliths scheme. The TRS government also failed to implement 12 percent reservation to the minorities, KG to PG free education and double bed room scheme in the last two years, he alleged.
