I will never take rest till AP reaches top : Chandrababu

Tirupati, May 27: TDP annual convention “Mahanadu” started here today. TDP national president and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu inaugurated the convention by hoisting party flag. He garlanded statue of party-founder NTR later. The entire venue of Mahanadu turned colorful with yellow flags everywhere along the road leading to the venue. Party MPs, ministers, legislators and others were attending the three-day annual meeting. Addressing on the first day of Mahanadu, party supremo N Chandrababu Naidu said Mahanadu is the only festival for TDP workers. “I am participating in the meeting as an ordinary member”, Naidu said. Recalling the services of late NTR, he said it was that great man who protected the self-respect of Telugu speaking people across the globe wherever they live. TDP came to existence for the welfare of farmers, women and youth, he added. The AP Chief Minister also bemoaned that Andhra Pradesh suffered great loss on account of “unscientific” bifurcation of the united AP. It was responsibility of the TDP government to put the financial position on right track. Naidu also vowed that he would never take rest till the State becomes second to none in development.
