'Fish prasadam distribution will be successful'

Hyderabad, May 26: The Telangana Government is planning to make the distribution of famous ‘Fish prasadam ‘ for chronic asthama patients provided in Hyderabad into a successful event. The Chief Secretary Dr.Rajiv Sharma today held a coordination meeting at Secretariat with all the concerned Heads of Departments on the preparatory arrangements for the distribution of ‘fish prasadam’ to be held at Exhibitions grounds on June 8 and 9 ,2016. During the meeting, he instructed the officials on high security with CCTV , proper lighting , strong barricades, temporary sheds for patients , NGOs stalls, more fish counters and provision of adequate water tankers for storing of fishlings etc. He also stressed on maintenance of sanitation, garbage clearance ,regular cleaning with bleaching powder. He also instructed to provide sufficient drinking water at the venue for patients and also for their dependants, visitors and officials on duty. Arrangements should also be made for provision of milk at the venue for benefit of the patients and others visiting Exhibition grounds. The Chief Secretary also directed the officials to make fool proof arrangements for uninterrupted power supply , 110 Special RTC buses to fly from bus stands and Railway stations he added. Adequate medical units ,ambulances and fire engines are provided to meet any exigencies during the nonstop distribution of the fish prasadam on those days.
