VH to contest again for Rajya Sabha?

Present Rajya Sabha member and senior Congress leader V.Hanumantha Rao is planning to contest again to the upper house of Parliament. He met TPCC President Uttam Kumar Reddy and CLP leader Jana Reddy and requested their support for contesting again. VH also met AICC president Sonia Gandhi to discuss the issue of contesting again. It is known that he is a leader considered as so close to Gandhi family. Speaking to reporters, he said he did not hesitate to meet even Telangana Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao to get his support to fulfill his wish. The grapevines are such that he told the senior leaders of his party that he may get KCR's support as he played a great role during Telangana movement. Eventhough he know well that he won't be elected to Rajya Sabha considering the strength of MLAs of his party in the state assembly, he is planning to enter Rajya Sabha again by hook or crook. We have to wait and see whether his long association with the party and being a senior politician will take him to Rajya Sabha.
