CM checks secretariat work at Velagapudi

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday expressed his satisfaction over the speed with which construction work on the temporary Secretariat was going on at Velagapudi in Guntur district. He went to Velagapudi to check the progress of the work on the temporary Secretariat along with ministers Narayana, Devineni Uma and Prattipati Pullarao. They examined the progress of the construction work and told the contractors to speed up the work further on the ground that the government staff would have to start their work in the new capital from next month. The contractors assured the Chief Minister that they would be able to speed up the work. They are going to complete the work in the stipulated time. The ministers also told the contractors that under any circumstances the work needed to be completed by next month so their staff from Hyderabad could be shifted to the new Secretariat.
