AP to prepare students for NEET, says CM

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said on Saturday that the medical stream students in the State would be prepared for the NEET Syllabus commencing next year. A three-member committee had been constituted to review the syllabus for the medical stream students. The government would ensure that the students would not face any difficulties. As regards education in general, Chandrababu stressed that focus on children's education was necessary to ensure a good future for the State. (The State had allocated high budget for primary education). Talking to newsmen after the release of EAMCET medical stream results, the Chief Minister said the green signal had been given to fill up teachers posts. The teachers would be there from the opening day of the schools. He said cleanliness would be maintained at every government school in the State. At the same time, he advised the students that they should concentrate only on studies and should not bother about non-academic activities.
