AP BJP to have new president ?

If the news reports are considered, Andhra Pradesh BJP unit will have the new president after the results of the five assembly elections are declared on May 19. National leadership of the party is infavour replacing present president Kambhampati Hari Babu whose term has ended recently. The state party presidents of Jharkhand, Bihar and Delhi will also be replaced in the same reshuffle. Kapu leader Somu Veeraraju is said to be the frontrunner for the post. He has the support of party national general secretary Ram Madhav. However, NTR's daughter and former union minister D Purandeeswari is also in the race to head the party unit in the state.
