Jagan blocking up projects & inciting people, says TDP

Two TDP leaders, Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma and party spokesman Manikyala Varaprasad, on Saturday flayed YCP leader YS Jaganmohan Reddy for creating hurdles for projects and inciting people by undertaking fast. Taking the fight into the Jagan territory, Uma said in Cuddapah that Jagan was interfering with the Pattiseema and Polavaram projects, while the State government was working for solving the farmers' problems. The government had supplied water to farmers in Cuddapah also, but the YCP leader was alleging otherwise. Jagan was not able to digest the programmes taken up by the State government. The minister claimed by the construction of Pattiseema project, the State was able to save 40 tmc water so far. Varaprasad claimed in Guntur that by aligning with the Centre, the State could achieve higher benefits, including the Special Category Status for it. However, Jagan was only inciting people, which he should stop in the interests of the State. The party spokesman said Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was pursuing the SCS for AP. The TDP was relentlessly pursuing the status with the Centre.
