Habitual AgriGold blunders in Udipi court

AgriGold officials thought they had Midas touch. They tried to apply it on the public prosecutor in Udipi in Karnataka, when they were rebuffed, perhaps for the first time. The Chairman and directors of AgriGold allegedly tried to bribe the Public Prosecutor with Rs 1.5 crore. This enraged the Public Prosecutor who reported the mater in the court. Hundreds of people in Karnataka also fell victim to AgriGold investments. The Karnataka government was considering a CBI inquiry into the losses suffered by the people there because of AgriGold. Against this background, the Public Prosecutor complained he was offered a massive bribe by AgriGold top brass to the government and the Udipi court.
