KCR community holds 40% top positions: Uttamkumar
Pradesh Congress Committee president Uttamkumar Reddy on Friday flayed the Telangana Rajya Samiti government for trying to buy voters in the Palair by-election with moneybags. He alleged the TRS ministers were coming into the constituency with moneybags and distributing the same among voters. Speaking at Palair, Uttamkumar stated that Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's Velama community constituted only 4% of the State population, but they were enjoying 40% of the top positions. He described it as family rule of KCR. Likewise, the Dalits comprised 16% population in the State, but not one minister was there from the community. He further alleged that KCR was concentrating on allocations to only those irrigation projects, wherein there could be a lot of returns for the contractors and dealers.
