Amaravati people get full medical cover for 10 years

While the new Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati is being built, the people in the area can be rest assured that their health has been taken care of and they will be getting medical aid free of cost for 10 years. The Capital Regional Development Authority (CRDA) law states that the people in the Amaravati area should be given medical cover for free of cost for 10 years. The free medical aid would be given both in the government and private hospitals in the area. The free medical aid would be applicable to people living in the area since before December 8 last. The instructions in this regard have been passed by Health Department Principal Secretary Pooam Malakondaiah. Both the white and pink card holders would be getting the facility under the auspices of the NTR Health Services Trust. They can get all medical aid free of cost.
