Sushma Swarj poser to Oomen Chandy claim on evacuation

Kerala Chief Minster Oomen Chandy has claimed in his election campaign that his administration had helped the evacuation of 29000 Keralites from the strife-torn Libya, and that his government had paid for their safe return a couple of years ago. His government was always working for the welfare of the people of the State. This claim of Chandy has angered External Affairs Minister Sushma Swarj who asked for the details of the payments made by the Chandy government. In her Twitter account, Sushma asked Chandy to whom, how much money was given for the Keralites' evacuation. The evacuation was totally done by the government of India, in which the State government had no role. She said her ministry took it as bounden duty to ensure the safety of Indians abroad. It also worked to solve the problems of the NRIs.
