Babu Govt promises to include Kapus among BCs

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chinarajappa asserted on Thursday that it would be Chandrababu Naidu who would be ensuring the inclusion of Kapus among the Backward Classes. Talking to the media while on a trip to East Godavari district, Chinarajappa said the TDP government would keep the promise made before the elections in this regard. The Deputy CM announced that Justice Manjunath commission would be visiting the State from June 1 to 15. During the period, the commission would be eliciting the views of the people on the inclusion of the Kapus among the Backward Classes. As a welfare measure, five buildings would be constructed for the Kapus at a cost of Rs 1 crore each, he added.
