Tonsured Tollywood comedian Venumadhav on Tuesday responded to the social media gossip that he was suffering from cancer, BP, sugar, ulcer and ailments and would soon disappear from the scene, plunging the Telugu film fans in sorrow. Venumadhav went in shaven head to the Kushaiguda police station and asked the police to stop the nonsense about his health. Speaking to the media later, the comedian asked, `Who is this fellow talking to you to now? Is it Venumadhav, his brother or his brother-in-law? `Why are they carrying out a campaign against me by fabricating reports that I am dead? They in fact said that ``Venumadhav, who had been ailing for some time, is no more with us. Listen in to what he said in NIMS Hospital yesterday!'' `Why are they carrying out such a campaign?' he asked. `To get to the bottom I have sought the help of the Kushaiguda police on Tuesday morning. Cases have been filed against all those behind the deadly campaign,' he added. As for tonsure, he explained that he had been to Tirumala recently. Pointing to Lord Venkateswara picture, he said `I have asked for the Lord's blessings to make Balakrishna's 100th film and Chiranjeevi's 150th films super-duper hits.'
