YCP's Kottapalli Subbarayudu gets call from CM

Former Minister Kottapalli Subbarayudu, West Godavari YCP unit chief, was pleasantly surprised on Sunday night following a phone call from Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He invited Subbarayudu to join the ruling TDP. Subbarayudu worked as Power Minister with distinction during the previous Chandrababu Naidu government in the combined AP. The phone call arose from the association. Subbarayudu affirmed with Chandrababu on rejoining the TDP. Only that he was going abroad with his family. After he returns, he would meet the Chief Minister and then join the TDP. The TDP had made a clean sweep in West Godavari in the last election. As for Subbarayudu, after the TDP stint he had joined Chiranjeevi's Prajarajyam party. After it folded up, Subbarayudu joined the YCP and was made its district unit chief. He lost the last election.
