Ram Temple building begins on Nov 9

The construction of Sri Ram temple at His birthplace in Ayodhya would begin on November 9 this year. This was announced at a meeting of the yogis and priests in connection with the ongoing Simhastha Kumbhmela in Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh. Last week, the BJP elder, Dr Subramaniam Swamy, demanded that the government make a statement on the temple construction issue. He said the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court was also trying to solve the issue. The three-judge bench of the Allahabad High Court had on September 30, 2010, apportioned the land one-third each to the Ram Lalla (Infant Ram) temple construction, to the Sunni Wakf Board and Nirmohi Akhara. The judges agreed that a temple had existed at the disputed structure.
