Nandyal patch-up leads to try & rope in more YCP MLAs

Following the patch-up between the Nandyal politicians, Bhuma Nagi Reddi and Silpa Mohan Reddy, the ruling TDP seems to be focusing on roping in the other YCP MLAs to its ranks. Silpa Chakrapani Reddy, brother of Mohan Reddy, told newsmen after the patch-up meeting with chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada on Tuesday that the YCP was just about to disappear from Kurnool district. The remaining YCP MLAs would be joining the ruling party with the party leader, YS Jaganmohan Reddy, losing grip on his MLAs. Chakrapani Reddy also announced that the relations between the Kurnool leaders had been normalised. Now the TDP would go on the path of development, Minister Achchen Naidu, who also strived for the patch-up, announced. The patch-up bid in Nandyal had taken a lot of effort by several leaders. Former minister NMD Farooq, who is also a local leader in Nandyal, had conveyed to the TDP leadership virtual minute-to-minute happenings in Nandyal. Following this, a meeting with the Chief Minsiter was arranged. Deputy Chief Minister K.E. Krishnamurthy, who also belonged to Kurnool district, was also called for the meeting. TD Janardhan, MLC of Krishna disrtrict, was a key figure in the normalisation talks. Because of the presence of so many leaders, the Nandyal stalwarts had to agree to the patch-up. Not only that they are going to energise the TDP in Kurnool district.
