When Sachin had pangs of calf love for Anjali

When Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar was courting Anjali, his future wife, he did not have the gift of the smartphones because they were not there then. So Sachin used to use the landline to ring her up 1 hour before they should meet every time. More often than not, Anjali, who was a medical student at the JJ Hospital at Worli in Mumbai, would be busy with her hospital work and medical emergencies and he would have no chance to meet her on that day. Besides, Sachin had to be at Bandra, where he used to live, ring her up on landline from there 1 hour beforehand to meet her at Worli JJ Hospital. One day it so happened that Sachin was desperately wanting to meet and talk to Anjali. He rang her up 1 hour beforehand as was the norm. When he reached Worli from Bandra, Anjali had to attend to a medical emergency. Sachin is not one to lose his wicket so easily. He went back to Bandra and rang her up to be ready to meet him 1 hour hence, and then went back to Worli. He succeeded in seeing and talking to her despite Anjali's busy schedule that day. Those days there were neither smartphones or the Bandra-Worli sealink which is a recent addition. Those were the days when Sachin had the fear whether Anjali would wait for him. She did and it's a successful love story.
