DGP Ramudu announces Rs 1 lakh for Gurudev Trust

Gurudev Charitable Trust in Kottavalasa in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh is producing artificial limbs for the handicapped people on a par with the Jaipur foot, which has gained international recognition for producing artificial limbs at a lesser cost. The Director-Geenral of AP police, JV Ramudu, visited the trust along with his wife on Sunday. He said on the occasion that the Gurudev Charitable Trust should also strive for recognition as much as the Jaipur Foot by producing artificial lims of quality for the handicapped people. Much impressed by the Trust work, the Ramudus announced Rs 1 lakh donation for the charity on the spot. The DGP later planted a sapling in the Trust premises.
