Revant Reddy demands Central police cover

The TDP working president in Telangana, Revant Reddy, Kodangal MLA, on Friday appealed to the Telangana High Court that he be provided with protection by central forces because there was a threat to his life. Revant said some unknown persons were threatening him on the phone. In this situation, he had no faith in the State government or the State police. Therefore, he should be provided with protection by Central forces. The court gave a notice in this connection to the State government and sought an affidavit. The TDP working president is virtually fighting a lone battle in the assembly, although the TDP has been reduced to three members.
