Harish warns TDP against opposing Palamuru project

If the TDP opposes the Palamuru project, the opposition party in Telangana will bite the dust, Major Irrigation Minister Tanneru Harish Rao has warned. Speaking after the foundation ceremony for the Palamuru lift irrigation project on Friday, Harish Rao claimed that the project would remain as prominent in the annals of irrigation in the country. He thanked the farmers who have given lands for the project. He assured the people of Mahbubnagar that the district would be turned green. He further said the Palamuru lift irrigation project was being carried out as sanctioned by the combined AP government. He claimed that the opposition was conspiring to oppose the project because they would then have no future in the State. Harish said a permanent solution had now been found for the Rajolibanda diversion scheme.
