Jagan complains to EC on defections to TDP

The `Save Democracy' plea of the YCP to counter `Operation Akarsh' of the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh has reached the right quarters of the Election Commission in New Delhi. YS Jaganmohan Reddy, YCP leader, took the matter to the EC in the morning. He complained to the EC that the TDP, by inducements, was attracting his YCP MLAs. They won the assembly seats on his party ticket, so they should be disempowered by the commission. He gave the complaint to the EC in writing. Jagan had met with several national leaders in this respect in the company of his party MPs in the last 2 days. He also sought an apppiontment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but had not been given a time slot yet.
