Srisailam YCP MLA cites godspeed & joins TDP
Even as YCP leader Jaganmohan Reddy is making rounds of the nation's capital against the defection of MLAs from his party, the YCP MLAs are citing godspeed, among other things, to quit the Jagan party and get admitted to the ruling TDP.
The latest YCP MLA to join the ruling TDP is Budda Rajasekhar Reddy of Srisailam who defected to the ruling party before the scheduled time, citing auspicious hour.
Rajasekhar Reddy and his followers were scheduled to be admitted to the ruling TDP ceremoniously at Tadepalli in Guntur district later in the day.
But Rajasekhar Reddy believes in godspeed. He was formally admitted to the TDP by the party president and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu at his residence in Vijayawada on Thursday morning.
The Tadepalli formal entry meeting is expected to go on as scheduled, when Rajasekhar Reddy's followers will also be joining the ruling party.
Reports say Araku YCP MLA Sarveshwar Rao and former MLA Gandi Babji are also expected to join the TDP shortly.
