TTD plans Srivari temple in Banjara Hills
The Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams Trust Board on Tuesday decided to construct a Srivari temple at Banjara Hills at a cost of Rs 18 crore. The other board decisions include the extension of temporary workers tenure for 1 year. A sum of Rs 3.86 crore had been set apart for setting up a pandal of pearls. The board plans wide-ranging decisions. These include increasing the awareness of Sanatana dharma among the students, increasing the allocation to Padmavathy University from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1 crore, Rs 4.8 crore allocation for the Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences, setting up accommodation for pilgrims visiting Vontimitta Kodandarama temple in Cuddapah district, community Hall construction at Vontimitta and Rs 4.60 crore for developing gardens.
