KTR No.2 in KCR Cabinet

Who is the No 2 in the Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao's cabinet? Till yesterday, two names used to be discussed: T. Harish Rao and K. Taraka Ramarao. But with Monday's reshuffle, it is now clear that, other things being equal, it is KTR who is the No.2. Proof? KTR was holding IT and Panchayat Raj portfolios. But following the grand success of the TRS in the GHMC elections, Municipal Administration was added to KTR's portfolio as a reward. Then came the Warangal and Khammam corporation elections. KTR again showed his mettle in campaigning. Although it was not his portfolio, KTR proved his contribution by attracting investment to the State. He made quite an impression on the Industries portfolio also. All this was reflected in the recent reshuffle by KCR of his ministry. Now KTR holds the portfolios of Municipal Administration, Public Enterprises, Mines, NRI Affairs, all of which are key portfolios. Analysts say KTR is No. 2 in the KCR Cabinet.
