MPs want exemption from odd-even Kejriwal rule

MPs of both the houses of Parliament are demanding that they should be exempted from the even-odd rule in Delhi because it is odd for them to hire a taxi when they have a car to go round. As the Parliament session began on Monday, many of the MPs came out with their views on the even-odd rule of the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi. Ghulam Nabi Azad of the Congress said it was not possible for him to attend the Parliament proceedings in a cab. His party colleague, Anand Sharma, also said the same thing that it was difficult to stick to the rule to attend Parliament. Naresh Agarwal of the Samajwadi Party said he was encountering certain problems becasue of the Delhi rule. The odd-even rule for motor vehicles has been intended to bring down vehicular pollution in the capital region. The second phase of the rule began on April 15.
