Siddipet MLC quits Cong, joins TRS

The Congress MLC from Siddipet, Farooq Hussain, is about to defect to the ruling TRS, giving a parting kick to the Grand Old Party and calling its PCC leaders names. Farooq said the PCC was full of those who sell milk and vegetables. In the same breath, he said the Congress comprised big shots who made money by selling MLC tickets. He also alleged that the big leaders had compromised with the ruling party already for their personal benefits. He further said when he had complained against the sale of MLC tickets, no Congress leader took the charge seriously. Owing to all these reasons Farooq said he had decided to join the ruling TRS. The fact is Siddipet from where Farooq hails is the bastion of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and Minister T. Hairsh Rao. It would be a contradiction if a Congress MLC continued in Siddipet.
