Chand Basha's effigies burnt in Anantpur

Anantpur on Saturday resented its YCP MLA, Chand Basha, defecting to the ruling TDP and burnt Basha's effigies in the town. The MLA, on his part, claimed that it was for the benefit of his constitutents that he had joined the ruling party. In fact, he told newsmen in Vijayawada that the Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu, had said that he would cooperate in the development of Kadiri. His main reason of joining the TDP was Kadiri development. Basha also said that for the development of the minorities, he would give his mite. The people back home were unhappy with Chand Basha. They went to the extent of burning his effigies.
