Lotus Pond talks begin on YCP plans

YS Jaganmohan Reddy, YCP leader, started consultations with his party leaders at the party headquarters at Lotus Pond on Tuesday. The agenda for the consultations is wide-ranging. First, the issue of defections without let or hindrance occurring in the YCP and the party MLAs crossing over to the ruling TDP. The YCP efforts to corner the MLAs who have defected have so far failed with the ruling TDP thwarting all their moves. The meeting might discuss the possible moves that could still corner the defector MLAs. Jagan is expected to go on a yatra across the State to expose the TDP government on the various fronts. The meeting is expected to draw up a plan for the Jagan Yatra. Jagan apparently puts a lot of faith in yatras, because his father, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, had benefited from the yatra and swung the Congress to power in the combined AP.
