DK Aruna hits out at brother's defection to TRS

Former Minister D.K. Aruna of the Congress on Thursday regretted her brother, Chittem Rammohan Reddy, Maktal MLA, joining the ruling TRS. Coming as she does from a politically strong and Congress family, Aruna said her father Chittem Narsi Reddy's soul might be weeping because of his son's defecting to the TRS from the Congress. In her case, she would rather beg than leave the Congress and join the TRS. She charged that the TRS was engineering defections throwing democratic values to the winds. If Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao was a sincere leader, he should make Rammohan Reddy to resign from the Congress and then enlist him. She hoped the day was not far when there would be a swan song for the KCR misrule. Apart from Aruna, Congress leaders have taken the defection by Rammohan Reddy very seriously. As they are trying to come back to power, the defections would go against them and lend credibility to the ruling TRS.
