RK Roja apologises to Anita as Privileges panel meet concludes

RK Roja, YCP leader, on Wednesday apologised to Anita, ruling TDP member, if the latter felt hurt by her remarks in the Andhra Pradesh State Assembly in the last assembly session. However, Roja made her point clear that the TDP leaders had deliberately targeted her. Roja asked TDP's Anita to forgive her if she had felt hurt. The Privileges Committee meeting ended after about 2 hours. It is assumed that the tendering of the apology by the YCP leader ended the matter in favour of Roja, because there was no clear indication whether she was forgiven by the panel or not. After trying to move the courts and failing, Roja had decided to attend the Privileges committee meeting today, where she tendered the apology. Roja's target in the House was Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and she may have said a few things because Anita came in the way. She was suspended by the House for an unprecedented 1 year.
