Delhi Metro to go driverless, and have swanky trains

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has tested driverless metros for the past few month. Now the corporation has imported sophisticated trains from Korea to put them to use, signalling the thrid phase of the network development by the year-end. The swanky six-car trains have breen imported from South Korea. They landed by the sea at Mundhra Port in Gujarat, from where those were brought to Delhi by special trailers. While the metros show a lot of leg space, they seem to be short of seating capacity. The seats, not cushioned, are to the sides, the middle portion can hold more standing passengers. Busy time public may like the new trains because of the leg space they have. Even if they manage to get a seat, it will be for a brief period only. More than the fastest train or swanky Delhi metro carriages, it would be great if the railways could speed up freight trains so as to reach vegetables and such other commodities for long distances so as to give good returns to the farmers.
