Jagan is rare, Chandrababu brilliant, says Jyothula

The YCP leader, Jyothula Nehru, who is about to join the ruling TDP, maintains equanimity between Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and the YCP leader, YS Jaganmohan Reddy. He describes Chandrababu Naidu as a fullblown politician, and Jagan as rare leader who lacks maturity. Because Jagan was rare type, Jyothula said he could not get along with him. Even so he would not say Chandrababu was doing a great job. However, taking the current circumstances into account, you will have to say Chandrababu was doing a brilliant job. He said he was joining the TDP because of the Chief Minister's assurance that he would do good to the Kapus, to which community he belongs, in such a way as not to affect the Backward Classes in general. Jyothula emphasized that he was not an opportunist. As for himself, he would not say he was an ideal politician. He may have done things for his supporters, which might not put him in good light. At 64, he said he had not much to achieve. In fact, the time has come for him to retire from politics. He claimed he had made leaders. When Megastar Chiranjeevi formed the PRP, he had firmly believed that the actor would become the Chief Minister. Although he had differences with Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, it was he who had invited him to join the ruling party. Jyothula said he was a straightforward person and not after positions. Whatever he wanted to say, he would say it straight on the face, whether it be Jagan or Chandrababu.
